This was an existing natural clay bottom pond that was part of a country property and the new owners wished to spruce it up a bit and improve water quality. This pond was overgrown with cattails and required some circulation as well as biofiltration. A large natural bog and pumping system was installed to improve the water quality. Tranquil Escapes also installed an arch bridge from shoreline to the island located within the pond. This pond is now a thriving natural ecosystem with many frogs, fish, and other wildlife.
